Culver City Public Theatre (CCPT) is a membership-driven company. Our company members come from a variety of backgrounds with specialties that include a wide breadth of experience in performance, design, technical operations, marketing, stage direction, and stage management. CCPT was founded in 1998 and is currently headed by a nominated executive board of directors. CCPT is made possible in part by the generous contributions of its patrons and of local businesses and organizations.
About Carlson Park
Dr. Paul Carlson Memorial Park is an idyllic setting where Culver City Public Theatre (CCPT) is based and where our summer season is staged. Patrons are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnic lunches or whatever makes you comfortable. Informal seating is available (both in the shade and in sunlight) on a first-come, first-served basis. CCPT also has a small concessions stand that offers beverages and light snacks.
The park, located at the corner of Motor Avenue and Braddock Drive, also has public restrooms, park benches and lovely walking trails. The vibrant green foliage is lovely and the park is surrounded by a very pleasant, quiet neighborhood community with ample street parking in the area.
